All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan and TV, for optimal comfort. Note also that the sixth bedroom is accessible from the outside, located after the pool, which gives it a little more privacy and separation from the common areas.

This is more than a property, it’s a team of people who know the island and setup/confirm your plans each day. Working with Theo, we had rental cars in the driveway waiting, we had boat trips in place, dinner reservations, beach chairs set aside, even a private chef and bartender greeting us. Once onsite, Thibault and Rose make sure every detail of the villa is perfect, they confirm your plans for each day, and provide help with anythign you need along the way. Gorgeous property! It fit our group of 14 people perfectly. We are an active family so used the kayaks almost daily to go over to Pinel Island for drinks and playing on the beach with a beautiful view of the island. There were sea turtles in the area, too, which was a special treat! Our hosts were responsive and so friendly. He was able to arrange a chef to come in a couple nights and cook, and he suggested the super fun catamaran tour we took for snorkeling. The pool was warm and swimmable daily. We could walk to the cutest French Bakery in the morning for croissants. The grocery store is only a 6 minute drive and a fun little town was about 10 minutes away. 5 high school friends and spouses booked Mapai over a year in advance. We received concierge assistance from Thibaud, reserving two cars in advance along with airport transfer reservations. Upon arrival, even though we reviewed the pictures often, we were absolutely stunned at the beauty of Mapai. The setting and view were amazing. The home was wonderfully appointed, with everything we could need. The outside dining and pool areas provided rich connection spaces. And the kayaking, snorkeling right across from the villa, and access to Isle of Pinel was stellar. Lots of turtle sightings! The bakery on the way to Rue de Terasse was quaint and delicious, Sunset, Ocean 82, and the lolos are must do’s in Grand Case. Finally, we were spoiled by Thibaud, our extremely attentive Concierge and Rose, our daily housekeeper. We had the experience of a lifetime! I did forget to mention that this would be a difficult or impossible rental for anyone physically challenged. Cannot say enough about this place! House was perfect if you want a less populated area. Thibaud, our concierge was AMAZING!!! Always helpful with our crazy requests. 20/10! First and foremost, Thibaud makes the stay here flawless! He is very responsive and helpful. From helping us locate a lost bag to suggesting/making dinner reservations, he is the most attentive concierge we've ever had. The Villa is amazing with magnificent views. Being able to kayak to Pinel Island was so fun and the food there is delicious. We 100% recommend staying here and would definitely come back in the future. Thank you Villa Mapai for a wonderful week in paradise ! I can't say it enough, Thibaud is next level. We have rented a lot of houses and have never had anyone as attentive as Thibaud. He made everything easy. This is also the first house we've stayed in that didn't have an issue with the pool. We have zero complaints. This is an amazing property/experience.
