Memorable Stay in Nettle Bay! We had a fantastic stay in Nettle Bay! The location is perfect—peaceful yet close to everything you need. While having a car is recommended for exploring the island, there are a few great restaurants within walking distance. The place was amazing, very private and secluded from noise, with private patio that overlooks the ocean. Very romantic. The view priceless. Every morning my husband and I enjoyed our coffee sitting on the patio overlooking a magnificent view of the ocean. We were celebrating our anniversary and when we arrived our host Jahelle had a champagne chilling in the fridge for us. We were also provided with sodas and beer in the fridge, as well as variety of snacks. The villa is located on the french side of the island. Within walking distance there are lots of shops such as small food market with french products, french bakery, pharmacy, also small beach restaurants. Jahelle is very nice and knowledgeable and always available if needed. Things do happen so one day we lost internet. The moment we notified her, they took care of it immediately. very amazing little villa. had everything you needed and our host Mehdi was such a pleasure. he responses quickly whenever we had questions and was very helpful to us. we enjoyed our stay at Nettlé Bay and would def book again. it’s right on the beach but the water isn’t as swimable as the other beaches but it’s not a problem because Mullet Bay beach is less than 10 min drive which is one of the best beaches around. Beautiful and quiet location on the French side. Only rental out of all the condos in the surrounding area. Pool is clean. Beach is pretty but not really swim able as it is rocky however very short distance from Baie rouge which is one of the nicest beaches on the island. Thank you for having us! Absolutely gorgeous place! You walk out to your private back patio and look directly at the ocean and a pool…. It’s like having the best of all worlds. The air conditioning and fans worked great, shower was nice and bed was extremely comfortable. The TV is smart so you can unwind at night watching Netflix and the kitchen is user friendly. For location I would recommend having a car if you want to explore the rest of the island but we would absolutely stay here again!
