Perched on the heights of Terres Basses, Villa Mariposa embodies Caribbean elegance in all its splendor. Its recently renovated pool stretches out toward the horizon, offering a refreshing and elegant space to fully enjoy the surrounding beauty.From the moment you arrive, the harmony of the property captivates: spacious, cascading terraces naturally guide your gaze and steps from the main living area to the horseshoe-shaped infinity pool, recently renovated, extending down to the verdant lawn. Designed for seamless outdoor living, the villa invites you to enjoy every moment of the day: from breakfast with a sea view, to a relaxing afternoon by the pool, or evening dinners under the stars. Pool heating is available for an additional $350 per week.
Inside, light flows freely through the open-plan living spaces. The large, comfortable lounge beckons for relaxation, featuring a billiard table and unobstructed sea views. Adjacent, the fully equipped kitchen and dining area provide everything needed for casual meals or gourmet dining.
All four air-conditioned bedrooms are accessible from the outside, offering excellent privacy thanks to their layout. Two bedrooms are located on the main level and open directly onto the main terrace. The third bedroom, also on this level, is reached via a small pathway leading to its private terrace. The fourth bedroom sits on the lower level and is accessed via the staircase next to the pool, also featuring its own outdoor space.
Each bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom decorated in warm, Caribbean-inspired tones, with spacious double showers that open out toward the horizon.

We are a family of 9 including a 3 month old baby and a Great grandfather and this villa catered to all of us! The home was amazingly beautiful and was exactly as depicted in the pictures. There was plenty of room to all be together and lots of areas to be if someone had to work for a bit or wanted to read quietly. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was fantastic! The kitchen was well appointed with everything that you could need should you wish to cook. AND, the pool(s) were simply AMAZING! We brought floats and a basketball hoop and truly enjoyed games and competitions with our adult children and also games with waterproof cards and dice in the smaller pool with the table. Chelsea, our concierge, was very responsive to any/all questions before, during and after our trip. She set up transportation for us on a couple of days that we did not wish to drive, made sure our rental deliveries (beach chairs/umbrellas, crib, etc.) arrived and generally made herself available for our needs. She is sweet, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Jenny, the housekeeper was a true gem and we appreciated all of her efforts maintaining the villa each day. We had an amazing time in St. Martin. The whole team was great but wanted to give a special shout out to Housekeeper Agatha who took care of us daily. Our concierge Jahelle was attentive and went out of her way to assist us with retrieving our late luggage, making reservations, and suggestions. If you are getting pictures done insist on photographer Donovan. Thank me later! Mariposa is an ideal property although it can use a little upkeep on the common area, but we would stay here again. Mariposa is a beautiful place - the photos are perfectly accurate. We brought pool floats and spent many wonderful hours just floating in the pool. We had a water outage one day and a short power outage the next day, but our concierge resolved the matter to our satisfaction.
